A friend of the devil is a friend of mine.  That expression usually means one is inclined to gravitate toward people of this sort.  However, it can also be seen as an example of polarity and the influence of light over dark.  Don’t be afraid of those who are darkened and hardened by this world, when you are filled with loving light to share.  Lead by example and feed the hungry and warm the homeless and care for the sick.  It makes your light grow and their suffering lessen.  Gratitude warms their heart and if not gratitude then the lessening of their pain is enough to shed more light on the situation.  STEP FORTH, LIGHTWORKER – there is much work to do.  Know that there are all kinds of dark and dangerous situations in this world – take off your rose-colored glasses.  But stretch out your light sword and start cutting through it: use your clear mind to better discern the situations; use your open heart to give when you feel depleted; use your healthy body to stay strong during this time of transition.  Ask for help from the higher realms and don’t ever feel you are alone on this quest.

Sometimes we are quiet and peaceful and at other times irritated and anxious.  Sometimes we are joyfully elated and at other times morose.  And these are just the outside, superficial, emotions.  Deep inside there is a flow of who we are; themes and traits we were born with.  Some people, at their core, are quiet, others peaceful, and others anxious and morose.  These traits are longstanding, brought over from past lives, influenced by our DNA, and are, in general, more difficult to change – though they can be changed.  Finding the core you can be done with meditation, yoga, self-work and letting go.  You are breaking off the outer layers of the onion now.  After much work and balancing here, you will get to the core – the inner layers.  These are thicker and the center is the seed of it all; your essence.  We want to break away the layers so we can be less affected by environmental factors; we want to break away the outer layers to get to the core.  If we find imbalance here, at the core, we can continue to clear ourselves through past life regression or working through karma.  We can do these things or not do these things.  Most people don’t get past a few layers and many don’t even care to do that.  If you decide to work on shedding your layers, so you can find that space of freedom and pure bliss within, I commend you.  It is a task of a lifetime, but it is worth eternity.

We are each unique, and yet we are all the same.  We may look like our parents or laugh like our sister, but we are our own shining star.  Our light is unique – and even an identical twin cannot match it.  What you bring to the world is unique; no one else can do what you do right now (and that is not just your career/job/position I’m referring to but who you are for people: a teacher to some, a student to others; a friend to those in need, and an antagonist to others).  Your unique amalgamation role is one only you can play.  And at the same time, we are all the same.  Our bright light that makes us shine comes from the one source of light. We are fragments of the source and yet have the ability to tap back into the source at any time for renewal and to recharge our batteries.  We can obtain new information and understandings from source and grow brighter and more brilliant.  What a great opportunity for us here on planet earth.  Let us enjoy our uniqueness and our collectiveness too:  tap into the source and share your gifts with the world today.

We are all moving (forward, backward, sideways) and we concentrate on our movements.  We focus on how and where we will move and expect others around us to move accordingly.  But of course, everyone around us has their own agenda, their own path, and similar thoughts regarding us (that we would move accordingly with them).  We get upset when our movements are stifled or redirected because of others.  That doesn’t really help the situation.  We may talk to our “others” and tell them about our movements so they may better move in alignment with us, however, it is more freeing to just allow others to be.  If we can allow others to be, without expectations, we actually become freer in our movements.  We are less focused on them and more open to receiving.  This is hard for many to do – allowing others to be; allowing the universe to provide.  It takes faith and hope and love.  It takes respect for others as you would respect your own decisions/movements/path.  It is the freeing of the expectations of others that allows you to be free in thought and word and deed.  You are not acting in a way to create a certain outcome; you are acting more from the heart-space and less from the core.  Open yourself up to the infinite possibilities (not just the one possibility that you expected to receive from your plan alone).  As you move forward, backward, sideways, be happy where you are.  Help others to be happy where they are.  Ask the universe for all you want and need without expectations (lose the attachments) and let go.  Then find gratitude in all the universe has provided.

Emotions are physical cues:  reminders for the body that things may fall out of homeostasis very soon.  They are reminders of the last time you were in such a position.  They can stem way, way back – to before we can remember; even back into other lives – carried over into this one.  Emotions are important for they “keep us real”, so to speak, instead of acting without rhyme or reason.  It is the unfounded emotion, the painful, crippling emotion that we need to work on, for it can hold us back and limit our choices.  How can we do that, you ask?  We can take an honest look at it – be the third person – view it like you would a movie.  What is your trigger for this emotion?  Where do you feel it in your body?  When was the last time you felt it?  And the time before that?  And before that?  Go back as far as you can with this emotion.  Talk about it, name it, get to its root.  Many of these emotions stem back to one of the prime root causes, going way back into childhood.  There they were even more important of an indicator for you and your survival, so don’t beat yourself up if you have emotions that stem back to feelings of abandonment, rejection.  We all do.  And as a baby – that cue came in handy.  It was part of your survival.  Love yourself today and take time for self-analysis.  Look at your emotions that may be holding you back and causing “dis” ease.  Find how they react in your body and trace them back to the first time you felt them.  Process the emotion:  look it in the eye, finding its faults and weaknesses.  Accept that emotion for that pat incidence but note that you are free to act differently today.  Possibly today such an emotion is not founded or warranted, or it may be limiting in your life.  Breathe in and out of it and process it through all levels:  body/mind/spirit.  Let go of judgment around it and start the clearing process.  Clear yourself so you can better help others.

Life is easy; though for most people it doesn’t appear that way. Loving is easy, but again, for most people it doesn’t feel that way. Karma and the Law of One are easy, basic building blocks of being human on this spinning sphere – but with ego and free will – they seem impossible for many to comprehend. Much difficulty comes because we don’t live simply – we live difficultly. We have the clutter in our mental, physical and spiritual bodies. Our homes are full of clutter, as well as our minds. If you want this filler – by all means – hold onto it. But if you are ready to let go, you will find that as we de-clutter our physical world (of all that does not serve us) our mental clutter becomes corrected too, to some extent. Then we can begin to concentrate on de-cluttering the mental body: what thought patterns do you hold onto that do not serve you; what feelings do you hold that do not serve: fear, anger, regret, pain, hurt? And multiply that by all the incidences where you’ve felt that way in this life, (not to mention past lives). By simplifying and de-cluttering, you free up time and space to explore the spiritual aspect of yourself. And if you are someone who spends a lot of time already in the spiritual world, possibly there could be some housecleaning done there as well. Let go of all the rules you’ve put in place for your spirituality: who sits at the right hand of whom, or how many times one needs to chant before they can take a breath. A simple request for connection is all you need. With a mind and body free of all that has weighed you down and cluttered your vision up until now, ask to see and feel and be part of The One. Ask for guidance and be open to receive the simple peace and understanding that is your birthright. Be thankful for this gift: simple!

Life is sweet and often it is bitter.  We live in a world of both.  The sun is warm and the winds are often bitter; this is our world of contrast.  Cats purr and dogs may bite; cats may bite and dogs may save a man’s life; things are not always defined as good or evil and they shouldn’t be.  We are a circle of experiences.  The balance is in the middle.  Feel free to explore the outer ridges but don’t believe you will fall off because you won’t – the circle just keeps expanding.  Many people live in a small circle of experiences while others have the larger sphere.  All is good and all is right for each of us has our own path (or in this explanation – circle) to deal with.  Balance is a nice place to be though being heavy or light in one extreme may teach us new understandings.  Work in your circle but most importantly realize that your circle is part of the great collective; and so is hers and so is his.  Look around with acceptance and understanding of the others around you.  When you find peace and love, share it with others.  When you find pain and suffering, be open, knowing others may have peace and love to extend to you.  And together we grow and expand.

We are accelerating forward and upward.  Yet the new speed/vibration is hard for many to take.  The younger people came into being when the earth was closest to this vibration.  The older generations are further away from understanding it; hence, they have greater issues (mental/physical) because of it.  Though we all need to gather ourselves and learn how to breathe and ground – or even the children will fry their circuits. The frequency of the mother, Gaia, the earth’s rhythm, is important to our bodies’ recalibration process.  We want to be tuned in there.  You can do that by grounding, walking in nature, beating a drum.  You can do that by dancing and spinning.   Yoga helps connect.  That is the goal:  connect.  We must get back to our roots to stay healthy in body, mind and spirit, as the world accelerates and hums.  Breathe and dance and have fun today – connecting to the mother.

It is important to practice.  It is imperative to be on the road to self improvement.  It is preferable if each individual was conscious enough to find themselves on a personal path of self growth and enlightenment that benefits not only themselves, but the world around them and their species.  However, many people are focused on other things, and in fact it is hard to blame them:  they are being bombarded with messages of what is important in life and rarely hear about the importance of defining a plan, or path, for spiritual growth.  A plan to invest one’s money is encouraged; a sabbatical for education is revered; even a weight loss plan is applauded.  But those who concentrate on their spiritual growth are rarely recognized in this culture.  Other cultures may be different.  Let me say, though, that this conscious choice to walk the path of spiritual unfoldment is THE factor in a person’s life.  Of course the species would continue on if no one tried to walk the path (though most likely this species would have wiped themselves out by now, if that was the case).  Simply put: keep trying.  It is why we are here.  The yearning to connect to source is the greatest gift, for it pushes (encourages) many to step on the path in the first place.  Take that step and your world opens up.  Take that step and life becomes full of so many gifts to support you; take that step on the path so you can be the best human you can be – for there you will find your heart, your soul, and your source.

Love spans the trinity of body/mind/spirit.  We’ve all felt examples of such loves:  desire and attraction when love is in the physical, admiration and intrigue when love is in the mental, and recognition and yearning when love is in the spiritual.  That spiritual love can have you turn in the middle of the street to talk to someone, make you pick up the phone as you swallow your pride to call someone, recognize a love so familiar you weep knowing you must have been together before.  Spiritual love can make you become a better person.  It can put you on the path of becoming more aware so that you can meet your soul mate, ready and able.  There are so many kinds of love and so much involved in the courtship and cultural games people play.  How does one manage all this when on a spiritual path?  Breathe in and out.  Be open and intuitive.  Go with your instincts of when to stay or go.  If you want to attract your soul mate, or experience love in ways you never have before (intensified, intensified) then start working on opening your heart.  When chakras are open the energy flow nourishes that area and most importantly allows fresh new energy to flow through.  Opening the heart chakra isn’t easy for those who have suffered pain and heart ache during usual living.  We put barriers around our heart to help protect us.  To get the fresh energy flowing up and down your body, where you can be refreshed and renewed, you need the heart chakra open and the only way to open it is to break down those walls you’ve put in place for all those years.  Sledgehammer them away; knock them over and excavate them out – each brick representing a painful word or rejection from this life or past lives.  Clear space around your heart so you can imagine the light to enter.  The butterflies and the birds are there.  The cherubs dropping love nectar are there.  Angels and saints and your gurus now have enough room to be there too.  I am open and I am free, your heart says at last.  And I will recognize love in all things and exude love to the best of my ability – that is what I’m here for.  I am no longer afraid or restricted.
