Please find information enclosed regarding KarmaFest® (Maryland’s Ultimate Holistic/Psychic/Yoga Festival) taking place at Oregon Ridge Park on Saturday and Sunday, May 22nd and 23rd, 2010. Last year was KarmaFest’s first year at Oregon Ridge Park. The positive feedback received from 2009 vendors and participants show it is a perfect venue for KarmaFest®. Oregon Ridge Park is a well-known venue located just north of Baltimore City and the Baltimore Beltway that often hosts The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, The Baltimore Wine Festival, and other large events. This year we will celebrate KarmaFest’s 5th Year in Maryland and I am looking forward to creating this event once again at Oregon Ridge. And we now have the whole park for KarmaFest! Each KarmaFest® just keeps getting better and better for both participants and vendors alike. Throughout the year I hear back from KarmaFest® participants who express their sincere gratitude for the KarmaFest® experience. That is why I have the festival - for the participants. My goal is to help spread the word about yoga and meditation, as well as other holistic and psychic modalities, in an effort to bring people on the path and/or move them onward and upward. The more I do this work, the more I see its importance. I can’t tell you how many KarmaFest® participants go on to becoming practitioners themselves (yoga teachers, reiki and shamanic practitioners, adepts in the Modern Mystery School, etc.). We are spreading the light and increasing our numbers on the path. Please help us continue to do so. I am well aware that we could not have a KarmaFest® without the financial support of you, the KarmaFest® Vendors and Sponsors. So to you I express MY gratitude to allow us to keep moving forward with this work. With that said, I hope you consider becoming a KarmaFest® Sponsor or Vendor. Information for both are enclosed. The cost to be a KARMAFEST® VENDOR starts at $150 for one day; $250 for both days. Service vendors, such as massage therapists, reiki practitioners, reflexologists, psychics, and the like, can charge whatever they wish for their service, in whatever increment they would like - i.e. $30 for half hour of reiki; or advertise specials, such as a 10 minute foot massage, for $15. Product vendors also do well at KarmaFest® with many remarking that their sales were better at KarmaFest® than in higher volume shows. I am aware that readers and those that perform body-work do so “by the hour” and may be concerned about the vendor fee. Therefore, I encourage teaming up to help offset your costs: a reader with some merchandise or a reader with someone who does body work. The cost to be a KARMAFEST® SPONSOR begins at $500, and with that, you get your company’s name on KarmaFest® advertisement and two seperate websites (WWW.KARMAFEST.COM and WWW. AWAKEN-TO-ENLIGHTENMENT.COM, as well as having a (REALLY GOOD) vendor space at KarmaFest®. As a sponsor, you may also be part of the lecture schedule. With the high cost of advertisement these days, it makes sense to consider the option of being a Sponsor (see sponsor sheet attached with further breakdown of various levels of sponsorship). Future KarmaFests® are being planned in Wilmington, NC, Jacksonville, FL and the Washington, DC area (I had hoped to already have the DC KarmaFest® by now but as of yet we are still working on finding the perfect venue).
