A BIT OF INFORMATION ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF VENDING KARMAFEST, IN GENERAL:

Each KarmaFest just keeps getting better and better for both participants and vendors alike. Regardless, throughout the year I hear back from KarmaFest participants who express their sincere gratitude for the KarmaFest experience. That is why I have the festival – for the participants. My goal is to help spread the word about yoga and meditation, as well as other holistic and psychic modalities, in an effort to bring people on the path and/or move them onward and upward. The more I do this work, the more I see its importance. I can’t tell you how many KarmaFest participants go on to becoming practitioners themselves (yoga teachers, reiki and shamanic practitioners, readers, healers, etc.). We are spreading the light and increasing our numbers on the path. Please help us continue to do so. I am well aware that we could not have a KarmaFest without the financial support of you, the KarmaFest Vendors. So to you I express MY gratitude to allow us to keep moving forward with this work.

With that said, I hope you consider becoming a KarmaFest Vendor. The cost to be a KARMAFEST VENDOR starts at only $200.   Service vendors, such as massage therapists, reiki practitioners, reflexologists, psychics, and the like, can charge whatever they wish for their service, in whatever increment they would like – i.e. $30 for half hour of reiki; or advertise specials, such as a 10 minute foot massage for $15. Product vendors also do well at KarmaFest. I have testimonials from KarmaFest vendors saying that one day at KarmaFest has broken their sales records for any one day in business (in over 20 years) – increased by over 50% during the 2014 festival.  Vendors can typically pair up with another vendor and share space.  Please contact Patti for a head’s up and permission when it comes to sharing space, and so that both business names can be listed.  Also realize you are going to have to work in closer-quarters, obviously.

KarmaFest Summer Sun Festival

July 13th and 14th

Baltimore, MD | (Falls Rd ~ Mt. Washington Area)

Indoor and Outdoor Vending Spaces are available for this exciting new show, KarmaFest Summer Sun Festival. This festival is in a great location for much of the KarmaFest Community and the general community, at large, who we imagine will just stop in as they pass by the festivities on Falls Rd. All vendor spaces will require your own tables/chairs/canopy set-ups.  Outdoor Spaces shall be on asphalt and Indoor Spaces will be in a large room connected to the outdoor area (remember you need to bring your own table/s). Spaces are approximately 10x10.  Indoor Spaces are $300 and Outdoor Spaces are only $200.  Food Vendors are charged $300 because food does well at KarmaFest.

Hip Gypsy KarmaFest

LABOR DAY WEEKEND – August 31ST & September 1st

(With FREE Tent Camping Option for Friday, 8/29 & Saturday, 8/31)

Chambersburg, PA

We are excited to combine forces with Hip Gypsy, a unique eclectic store-front set in an Old School House in Chambersburg, PA (IT IS SO COOL!). Hip Gypsy hosts several festivals each year at the space in and around their school house shop, and now we are adding KarmaFest to the line-up! All vending  for this new show in Chambersburg, PA is outdoors using your own set-up though we will be conducting some events indoors, as well, and The Hip Gypsy will be open for business too, during the event. Canopies and vendors spaces will be located on asphalt and you can even stay overnight tent camping Friday night, after set-up, as well as Saturday night, during the show.  Spaces are approximately 10x10 and all cost $250 which includes camping. The festival is for both Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day Weekend with break-down on Sunday, between 6 and 8pm, after the show.

VENDOR SET UP: FRIDAY OCTOBER 25, 11AM–3PM

VENDOR SET UP (ALTERNATIVE): SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26, 7–9AM (with permission and for outdoor vendors specifically)

FESTIVAL HOURS:
Friday, October 25: Packing in at 5pm for Tent or Dorm Stay. Program begins at 7pm and goes until 11pm (or paid overnight stay)
Saturday October 26: 10am–11pm (or paid overnight stay)
Sunday October 27: 9am–7pm (or paid overnight stay)

MINIMAL VENDING OBLIGATION IS: Saturday 10am-7pm AND Sunday 10am-7pm

VENDOR BREAKDOWN: SUNDAY AFTER 7PM OR MONDAY MORNING (out by 12 noon)

SPACES FILL UP QUICKLY FOR THIS OPTION

Indoor Spaces are THE prime real estate for any KarmaFest and are located throughout the Patuxent River 4-H Center, where we will also be holding our free lectures. There are also indoor facilities here, so it will be a main drawl, weather depending. All indoor vending areas should get excellent traffic. Most KarmaFest participants will enter this building for the free lectures, KarmaFest Information, to sign up for Paid For Workshops, and to use the indoor bathroom facilities.

Spaces are APPROXIMATELY 10 x 8 and if you are lucky 10 x 10. KarmaFest is never a convention style setting so we create excellent spaces in a variety of ways (i.e. a typical “corner spot” is not always the best spot, when it comes to vending a KarmaFest show). We will use your information (who you are and what you do), and shall place you in where we see best for flow. KarmaFest has had over 30 shows in their history so we are good at “production;” let us produce ~that’s what we do it (i.e. vendors don’t get to see a map and pick their spots). We create the layout and that typically does not happen until show time depending on a variety of factors; weather being one and numbers of vendors are also factored in. If we can have you spread out, we will certainly allow you to do so. We can provide you with a table and/or electricity, and will ask you about that when we get closer to the show. However, Vendors are required to bring their own table coverings along with extension cord and power strip if utilizing electric.


$250 – KarmaFest “The Gathering” OUTDOOR SPACE

Outdoor Spaces happen throughout the festival grounds. You will need your own canopy or tent, table, and chair set-up. You are guaranteed a 10×10 space and can TYPICALLY spread out a bit from there (this is a huge park). You can also purchase a double space or triple, if you would like. Contact Patti at patti@karmafest.com if you need a double wide or an extra-large space and we can determine a fair cost for this. Outdoor Spaces do as well as Indoor Spaces (depending on weather) and much of our program will be outdoors. AND you can tent camp by your vending space, if you would like!


$350 – KarmaFest “The Gathering” FOOD VENDOR

Food Vendors are located near the Patuxent River 4-H Center Building. Food Vendors should be prepared to use their own power (bring your own generator). Also, we prefer Food Trucks over a more traditional set-up operation for they are easier for flow, though both are welcome.


VENDOR DORM STAY ($60 total, per person, includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night stay)


VENDOR OVERNIGHT CAMPING STAY ($35 total, per person, Friday/Saturday/Sunday nights)

Vendors can now sign up for INDOOR VENDING SPACE or OUTDOOR VENDING SPACE  (Indoor spaces are limited and will fill up quickly).

WINTER SOLSTICE KARMAFEST CELEBRATION EVENT

The Winter Solstice (SOULstice) KarmaFest Celebration Event takes place on Saturday 21st and Sunday December 22nd.  Set-up is on Friday evening. This is our second year for this fun and free event. Our first year was a great success as we were also collecting toys for the homeless which we plan to do again this year.  Lots of attendees at this great location for this wonderful cause: holiday toys for homeless children.
