KarmaFest® 2009 -
Maryland
KarmaFest® 2009 will take place on Sunday,
June 7th at Oregon Ridge Park from 10am to 8pm. This will be
a great festival as it is the 4th KarmaFest® in Maryland, but the
first KarmaFest® at this wonderful venue: Oregon Ridge Park,
who often hosts The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra as well as
other large scale events. Our KarmaFest® will fit in perfectly here
and have room to grow. Even though Oregon Ridge is only 10
minutes outside of the Baltimore Beltway, the grounds are quiet,
wooded and nestled under the hills - a perfect place to celebrate
KarmaFest®.
What is KarmaFest®? KarmaFest® is the ultimate
Holistic/Psychic/Yoga Festival and this year promises to be as
amazing and enlightening as year's past. LEOTHA, the Shaman,
will again be here from California, conducting Shamanic

KarmaFest's Favorite Intuitives - Lotis Hawk, from New York City,
and Rose Atwood, from Virginia, will be returning, along with local
Reiki Master/Teacher, Virginia Abel. All will enlighten and
educate, as well as help us heal, and teach us how to better heal
others. We've got a full day of lectures, workshops and yoga. To

Yoga, will be leading us in Power Yoga, so don't forget your mats,
towels and water-bottles. For more on Sid and his studio, click here
Since KarmaFest® is also a time for celebration, we have a
belly-dancing performance or you can even join in a belly-dancing
workshop. There will also be a kirtan featuring Sid McNairy, as
well as an energy enhancing drum circle! So don't forget your
drum/rattle/cow-bell and do plan to join in and make some noise.
KarmaFest® also offers great food (including vegan and other
healthy creations from Zia's Cafe), music (with a great line-up
including Sahffi, Woody Lissauer, TEPORAH), and of course all
the great vendors of holistic modalities and products, psychics, and
more. Make it a day in the park with the family by bringing a picnic
lunch and blanket.
